Contracts and agreements are often full of dense legal language that hides predatory clauses, unfavorable terms, or outright scam indicators — and most people don't have a lawyer on hand to review every document they're asked to sign.

• Built a PDF ingestion pipeline that extracts and parses contract text for analysis.
• Designed prompts and processing logic that identify red flags — hidden fees, one-sided termination clauses, vague liability language, and other predatory patterns.
• Implemented a scoring system that distills the analysis into a single 1–10 risk score, so the output is useful even to someone without legal expertise.
• Deployed the tool as an interactive Streamlit app so anyone can upload a contract and get results without setting up anything locally.

ScamScanner turns a multi-page legal document into a plain-language risk assessment in seconds — making contract review accessible to people who'd otherwise have no way to catch predatory terms before signing.
